Background

It is difficult for an IT organization to possess highly developed knowledge in all aspects of enterprise architecture.  Furthermore, an IT organization often requires assistance in disseminating understanding of its enterprise architecture within the company.

Goals of this Service

Provide customer personnel familiarity with new insights and information about model-driven enterprise architecture
Communicate a company's enterprise architecture to other company personnel

How this Service is Executed

The consultant gives seminars at the customer site.  This service may be provided in conjunction with other services that the consultant provides to the customer.

If the goal is to provide information that is not specific to the customer's company, then the consultant selects an appropriate seminar from his repertoire, in consultation with the customer.  Available seminars are listed above.

If the goal is to provide information about the company's customized enterprise architecture, then the consultant refines appropriate selections from his repertoire to include material that focuses on the architecture's distinctive aspects.

Model Driven Architecture, MOF and UML are trademarks of the Object Management Group.  XMI is a registered trademark of the Object Management Group.  Design by Contract is a trademark of Interactive Software Engineering.
